About the Role

Key Responsibilities and Accountability: 


Customer Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship in accordance with the stipulated care within the documented care plan. Ensure the comfort, well-being, and safety of customers at all times, aligning with our commitment to Genuine Compassion. 


Communication: 

Communicate effectively with customers, their families, and the Care Team, ensuring clear and respectful interactions. Seek guidance and support from senior care professionals when needed to enhance communication skills. 


Observation and Reporting: 

Observe and report any changes in the customer's condition or needs to senior care professionals. Maintain accurate records of care activities and customer progress, aligning with our attention to detail and commitment to Loyal Reliability. 


Training and Development: 

Participate in training and development programs to enhance your care skills and knowledge. Embrace feedback and guidance as tools for personal and professional growth, reflecting our commitment to Adaptive Respect. 


Safety and Compliance: 

Follow safety guidelines, infection control measures, and all relevant policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health & social regulations. 


Team Collaboration: 

Collaborate with colleagues within the Care Team to deliver comprehensive care to customers, embodying our Unified Collaboration value.

Qualifications:

  • No specific qualifications required; willingness to undergo training and development programs.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated genuine interest in pursuing a career in care and support, aligning with your commitment to Dedication to Care.

Skills:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and their families.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in the care profession, reflecting your commitment to a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.

Characteristics:

  • Compassionate and empathetic with a strong commitment to upholding ethical standards in care.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Other:

  • Availability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for business use would be beneficial but not essential.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at enhanced level. Cost to be met by the candidate.
